Jessie Yeung is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree of Art (Music) from Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was previously studying at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and its Junior Music Programme. Graduating from Munsang College, she has been studying composition with Ms Ng Hau-yee Poly, Dr Phoebus Lee, Ms Li Kar-yee, Prof. Chan Kai-young, Dr Lo Hau-man and Prof. Wendy Lee. Yeung was granted a scholarship under the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild Mentorship Scheme and studied with Prof. Wendy Lee in “GalaMusica School Chamber Compositions 2019” organized by EDB. She created signature tunes representing the four core collections of the Hong Kong Museum of Art under the guidance of Mr Chiu Tsang-hei. Her piece "Probity" was selected in the "Music from Heart 2021" concert organized by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. She is now the double bassist of Hong Kong Youth Chinese Orchestra and the member of the woodball team at CUHK.

She would like to express the simplicity and intrinsic qualities of music through performing and composing music, exerting herself to explore the essence and inwardness of music in this ginormous world of art.
