Updated: Aug 6, 2020

I have read an article from ADayMagazine related to psychology and self-know. Originally it was in Chinese, and I have done some English translation.

1. Imagine there is a forest

Daytime or Nighttime?

is there a Pathway in front of you?

2. You are walking in the forest. You step into a hut.

What does the cup on the table looked like?

How would you use it?

3. There is a fish tank besides.

How many fishes are there?

4. You leave the hut. You see a river nearby.

How does the river flow? Fast or slow?

Deep or shallow?

How would you do if you need to cross the river?

5. You keep walking, and you see a bear.

How does the bear look like?

How would you walk pass the bear?

6. Before you leave the forest, which animal would you see in the very last minute?

How does it look like? Any characteristics?

Analysis

1. Forest represents the satisfaction towards life.

Daytime - satisfying. Nighttime - not satisfying.

Pathway represents your goals and aspiration.

If you see the pathway, that means you have found your direction.

People without any clear goals may not see the pathway.

2. Cup represents your desire of money.

The more valuable cup, the higher importance of money.

If you are drinking with the cup, you are thinking ways to make more money.

You will grab the chances and work very hard to get reward. If you have not touched the cup, money and material goods are not significant in your perspective.

If you take the cup and put it down, you are a down-to-earth people. You may not really aspire of getting rich.

If you take away the cup, you weight heavily on money and you won't miss any chances of getting rich.

3. The number of fish represents the number of real friends you have (people you are trust and can make a in-depth conversation etc.)

4. The speed of river flow represents your sex desire.

The slower the running, the less desire. Vice Versa.

The depth of river represents the passion from your partner. Shallow river represents you weight heavily on spiritual relationship/ interaction. If the river is deep, it represents infatuation and sex are more valuable to you.

The way crossing the river represents your thoughts on making sex.

The easier crossing the river, the more you enjoy in the process. If it is hard to cross the river, making sex might be a tough task to you.

5. The appearance of the bear represents the degree of stress you have.

Cute bear = less stress.

Furious bear = stressful.

The way you pass through the bear represents the way you resolve difficulties. If you choose to escape, you are tend to run away. If you come out safe and sound, you usually have your own way to solve the problems. If you tend to fight with the bear, you are in a intense situation.

6. The last animal represents the image of your partner.

It illustrates what kind of person you are intended to fall in love and his or her personality.
